ReplyDeleteOne have a CP around 30, and the other had a CP around 130.
Don't know if they all vary this much.
Im lvl 4 and found a cp146 in front of my house

ReplyDeleteI hatched one at 1,111 with about 30 candies. He's 1,345 now and vicious. I was lvl 20 when I got him and I'm 22 now. Steel Wing and X-Scissor
ReplyDeleteI also caught mine in a grassy field near a pond. Port Orange, FL. CP 868 to start, but it only had Fury Cutter - 3 and Night Slash - 25. I hatched a lower level (556) with better attacks (Steel Wing - 15 and X-Scissor - 30). What to do, what to do...

ReplyDeleteI tested my sythers (Nest at pacific Palm resort) against gyms and found furry cutter into bug buzz continuously is better than steel wing...anyone had the same result?
ReplyDeleteFury cutter is much faster and builds the special attack quicker. I think the best combo would actually by Fury cutter and bug buzz despite what the page says (haven't tested it yet either though)
ReplyDeleteI think that FURY is faster to build the special attack, but... if you take into account the damage that STEEL WING would deal to ICE-FAIRY-ROCK type Pokemon, then there's no comparison, remember that Steel Type Attacks are very strong against those types (Lapras, Golem, Clefable) and if you hit with a beneficial attack the special bar fills even quicker. It's more to do with your intentions towards SCYTHER usages, you want him to take down PSYCHICS or to take down LAPRAS for instance...
ReplyDeleteLapras has ice attacks which are super effective against both of Scythers typing, and the same applies for rock attacks.... So the only time when steel wing Scyther could have a edge is against Fairy types.
ReplyDeleteSo against Psychics or plants then bug type moves are easily better (Good counter against Exeggutors)...
Fury cutter hits nearly as much as steel wing anyways with the speed and STAB but it builds up special really fast, bug buzz is perfect with that, if you have a scyther with fury and buzz then hold on tight to it
